[transcription]
Once upon a time, up in the sky,
There was a red star and a blue star.
Every night, both stars would shine
As brightly as they could.
And every night they would compete
To see which one was brightest.
Their friends would tell them they shone
In a way the other never would.
One night, the shooting star asked the red star:
"Why do you both compete like this?"
The red star smiled sadly.
"Do you really want to know?"
The shooting star nodded.
"I always loved how the blue star shined
But its light seemed cold and lonely,
So I shone back to say hello."
With that in mind, the shooting star
Asked the blue star the same thing.
"I like to see the red star's warm light.
When I look at it, I feel so soothed."
The shooting star came by another night
To tell the red star what they'd heard.
The red star began to cry and said:
"I wish we could be friends, but neither of us can move."
